Today’s Mets Lineup vs. Rockies

Here is the lineup the Mets will send to bat this afternoon against Rockies righthander Aneurys Rodriguez:

1. Jose Reyes SS
2. Josh Thole C
3. David Wright 3B
4. Carlos Beltran RF
5. Jason Bay LF
6. Daniel Murphy 1B
7. Justin Turner 2B
8. Jason Pridie CF
9. Chris Capuano P

Thole back in the #2 spot, and Beltran back in the lineup as the cleanup hitter. Interesting to see Pride hitting 8th considering how hot he has been lately. I might prefer to see him and Turner flip-flop since it seems that Turner is slightly more disciplined, and #8 hitters often get less pitches in the strike zone with the pitcher on deck. Of course, I’m nitpicking.

Feel free to comment here during the game (i.e., “in-game thread”).
