Tonight’s Mets Lineup vs. Marlins

It’s been a long time since the Mets have faced the Marlins — an entire weekend, in fact — yet not much has changed since then. Me, I’ve had my fill of the Fish; it feels like spring training, when the Mets have only four other teams to face. Though, after Wednesday, the Mets won’t see the Marlins again until 2012, so there’s that.

Here is the lineup the Mets will send to the plate against Marlins pitcher Javier Vazquez:

1. Jose Reyes – SS
2. Ruben Tejada – 2B
3. Lucas Duda – RF
4. David Wright – 3B
5. Angel Pagan – CF
6. Jason Bay – LF
7. Nick Evans – 1B
8. Josh Thole – C
9. Chris Capuano – P

Anyone else thinking that maybe hot-hitting Nick Evans should be a spot or two higher in the lineup? Not that it matters, just sayin’.
