Carlos Beltran Still Leading the Mets

In the “Where They Were Now” department, I’d like to point out that Carlos Beltran — the switch-hitting outfielder who was traded away to San Francisco nearly two months ago — is still leading the Mets in doubles, walks, homeruns, RBI, on-base percentage, slugging, and OPS.

    I would like to note that he is second to Angel Pagan in attempts to catch a flyball with your feet.The importance of that statistic should not be overlooked.

    That is JUST SAD! It just shows you that our minor league team that is on the field is just that, minor leaguers.

    What it shows you is how much David Wright is worth next year when he wants a new contract.
