    When the Mets fill their roster out with career minor leaguers and underdog types, fans find it easier to root for the team. I wish this would be their strategy more often. When a guy like GMJ struggles we have no patience. We think he is a major leaguer, he should be better than this, but if a Chris Carter struggles we are much less likely to boo him. More importantly these guys are better than the players they have replaced.
