  1. Can someone tell me how a closed door meeting is going to “light a fire” under the Mets offense. Anybody that has ever put on a jockstrap will tell you that there are no words in the world that can assist in you laying off a tough slider or hitting a 90+mph fastball.

  2. agreed. I would say that this meeting signals the beginning of the end for the Mets’ 2010 season.

    Though, the Kool-Aid drinkers may cling to the prediction that we’ll all look back to this meeting in October and identify it as the “turning point” of the season.
