Wally Backman Blows Up

In case you missed it, last Friday Wally Backman had an “issue” with an opposing manager.

First, the part where Wally goes after Syracuse Chiefs (Triple-A Nationals) manager Tony Beasley. The second video is the post-game press conference, during which Wally explains why he went after Beasley. There are also some interesting comments and updates regarding a few of his Bisons ballplayers, such as Lucas Duda.

When is Wally going to get his front teeth fixed?

I mean, if one going to argue, rant & rave & say F#*%U, one should do so in style, don’t you think?

Notwithstanding, I look forward to when he’s managing in the Mets dugout and puts Davey in his place…Little Dog bites the Big Dog. 🙂

The teeth are part of the effect. Plus it makes him “real.”

Speaking of effect for use in arguments, at my college the basketball coach used to chomp on a clove of raw garlic before going out to argue with the official.
