    1. Does Omar get his extension now? How can you knock that trade? Look at what ARZ gave up for Dan Haren, or the CWS for Swisher.

    2. I think Minn will be happy in the long run. I think they have minor league talent, I think Slowey , Boof Bonser and Mulvey and Humber could do OK in that Division. Plus Deolis will do fine. Also Gomez needed to be a CF for someone.

    I did all I could do to NOT write about Johan all winter, then it hit me last night — this deal is going to happen!

    If Omar doesn’t sign him, he may as well resign — and invest in a bulletproof vest and hire a team of bodyguards.

    I’m more interested in the Johan Santana/Oliver Perez vs. Chase Utley/Ryan Howard/Geoff Jenkins match-ups.

    Gonna be alotta cool breezes coming from behind the batters boxes of Shea and Citizen’s Bank Park this year.
