Why Alyssa Milano is Not a Mets Fan

Alyssa Milano poses with Kaz Matsui of the New York Mets in 2006Last year, Alyssa Milano showed up in the New York Mets dugout, but apparently it wasn’t to ask out Kaz Matsui. Her braless visit to Shea may have inspired the Mets — and frightened Kaz to run to Colorado — but her heart, in fact, is with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Alyssa writes a Los Angeles Dodgers blog called “touch ’em all” which is fairly entertaining, if you don’t mind reading around all the self-promotion going on (*touch* is Milano’s line of MLB apparel for women).

With the Mets playing the Dodgers, now is as good a time as any to read her baseball prose … though “Charmed” fans will be disappointed by the lack of photos.

Joe Janish began MetsToday in 2005 to provide the unique perspective of a high-level player and coach -- he earned NCAA D-1 All-American honors as a catcher and coached several players who went on to play pro ball. As a result his posts often include mechanical evaluations, scout-like analysis, and opinions that go beyond the numbers. But Alyssa Milano is hot, so I don’t care what she wants to wear or who she wants to route for. The more of her I see, the better.

Her blog, on the other hand…

This is what happens when I don’t blog during the day … well at least you had fun going to the old posts!

haha, yeah. I only started contributing to the site somewhere in August or September, so I feel like there’s a lot I have to catch up on.

And by the way, although we don’t see eye to eye on 90% of the topics that get debated here, I absolutely love this website. I’ve tried out metsblog.com and my voice just gets lost in the sea of people who go there. At least here there’s interaction and room for thought. Thanks for the hard work, Joe. It is much appreciated.
