Below is a photo of another teammate and friend who was also at Ground Zero on that fateful day — thankfully, he made it out safely, helping others on his way. You’re my hero, Ag.

I know that baseball and this blog are supposed to be a temporary escape from reality but I have difficulty keeping things separate on this particular day. Please feel to post your thoughts, or not, about your feelings regarding today. Either way, may everyone have a safe and peaceful day.
