Okay I’ve got a question. Why has Mike Nickeas gotten such a free pass so far? The dude couldn’t hit the side of a barn if he tried driving a Chevy Tahoe into it. His bunt attempt this weekend against the Dodgers was hilarious. Meanwhile I have to keep hearing about how he is this great defensive catcher. I’m sorry, but did Mike Nickeas turn into Yadier freaking Molina when I was asleep or something? Great defensive catcher based on what? Is he among the league leaders in any defensive stat? Is he throwing out runners left and right, picking guys off, and coaxing the most out of this pitching staff? Also, if I haven’t made it clear already, he is quite possibly the worst hitter of all time. MIKE NICKEAS SUCKS.
