Today’s Mets Lineup vs. Padres

Will they split or will they win the series? We’ll know in a few hours. Here is the lineup the Mets will send to the plate against Padres pitcher Cory Luebke:

Scott Hairston – CF
Justin Turner – 2B
David Wright – 3B
Jason Bay – LF
Lucas Duda – 1B
Nick Evans – RF
Ronny Paulino – C
Ruben Tejada – SS
Jonathon Niese – P

Scott Hairston in the leadoff spot; interesting. Angel Pagan‘s back must still be barking. Hey look, there’s Nick Evans getting a start as well.

Split and it’s disappointing. Tejada was known for his defense and suddenly he can’t defend, blowing a fine outing by Niese.
