Joe Janish began MetsToday in 2005 to provide the unique perspective of a high-level player and coach -- he earned NCAA D-1 All-American honors as a catcher and coached several players who went on to play pro ball. As a result his posts often include mechanical evaluations, scout-like analysis, and opinions that go beyond the numbers. Clemens already released a statement saying the allegations are not true. Some people just never learn.

You can say that again. Apparently Clemens didn’t read the report. Just about everyone named is named with supporting, corroborative evidence. For example, the Clemens evidence is based on eyewitness account by his personal trainer Brian McNamee, which was corroborated by Kirk Radomski, Jose Canseco, and Jason Grimsley. Granted, those aren’t the greatest of character witnesses, but they were all interrogated by federal authorities, and all came up with a consistent story. Funny how those guys are dumb enough to get caught trafficking steroids but smart enough to all able to keep the story straight.
