XM Radio for Dad

Samsung Nexus XM RadioThere’s still time to get Dad a gift, and what would be better than an XM radio and satellite subscription so he can listen to every MLB game?

Personally, I’ve had XM for three years and love it. My mornings begin with MLB Home Plate with Mark Patrick and Buck Martinez, and during the afternoon commute when the Michael Kay Show gets too filled with moronic Yankee callers, I listen to Rob Dibble and Kevin Kennedy on XM. Kennedy and Dibble can get annoying themselves — esecially when they stick their heads in the sand regarding the Barroid Bonds issue — but otherwise a 24-hour channel dedicated to baseball is beyond awesome. Plus, you can listen to every single game going on around the country. Cool stuff.

I just ordered my dad a Samsung Nexus (he can’t figure out how to use the internet, much less find this website, so I’m not spoiling the surprise) with the car-kit bundle and an instant rebate of $129 through the MetsToday XM iRep Store. There are a few other good deals there, so check them out and perhaps you’ll find something for dad (or yourself).

FYI if you want to get the Samsung Helix, don’t buy it through that link. Instead, get it from Amazon (or through the Handpicked Mets Store) for over $130 less.

I know, I know, too many stores … but just trying to get the good deals to you!
