Hear MetsToday on The Sports Docket

For those of you who missed it live, visit The Sports Docket, where MetsToday’s own Joe Janish speaks with “Aceman and The Kwass” in episode twelve.

The Sports Docket is an independent program run by a couple of teenagers, so don’t expect the professional quality of, say, the Michael Kay Show. However, Aceman and The Kwass get fairly prominent guests (Matt Cerrone of MetsBlog was on last week), and are improving with every episode. I’ll take them over fatman and the rabid dog any day of the week.

By the way, it’s an hour-long show, and I come in around the 25-minute mark.

Joe Janish began MetsToday in 2005 to provide the unique perspective of a high-level player and coach -- he earned NCAA D-1 All-American honors as a catcher and coached several players who went on to play pro ball. As a result his posts often include mechanical evaluations, scout-like analysis, and opinions that go beyond the numbers.
