Mets Are a Punch Line?

In case you need more reason to hate Philadelphia, go ahead and read John Gonzalez’s column titled “Mets Are a National Punch Line“.

You may remember that John Gonzalez was the “professional” journalist who ignited the Raul Ibanez controversy back in June 2009.

It’s a shame that Philadelphia sports are so boring that their journalists have to focus on the Mets. With so many talented players and so much success you’d think a story about the Phillies would sell more newspapers.
